The broadband plans shown above are manually collected by our research team.
As a result of the limited wired Internet infrastructure, satellite and wireless broadband are the only services offering broad coverage to the average household.
Viasat Internet is the most common overall. They have Internet coverage for virtually one hundred percent of Toledo residents. HughesNet, in contrast, has availability for practically one hundred percent of local residents. The fastest speed advertised for Viasat is up to 35 Mbps. HughesNet advertised packages up to 25 Mbps. Any speed over 10 megabits per second (Mbps) will be sufficient for streaming lower-quality videos on WiFi. However, it may become problematic for large households or bandwidth-intensive apps like video conferencing, cloud apps, and etc. See the coverage map on this page to see how Internet options compare on a granular level in Toledo.

High Speed, good customer service
ToledoTel installed fiber to the home to every tax parcel in their coverage area. The internet speed and reliability have been very good. We have the 50 megabits plan and it is consistently at that speed.
